Usage Instructions
- Give this medication directly into a vein (IV), usually twice daily over at least two hours, or as directed by the doctor.
- When you are able to take drugs by mouth, you may be switched to an oral form of this medication.
- Do not give this medication by bolus or rapid IV injection.
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose for this medication.
- Do not use the injection form of this medication for longer than two weeks unless directed to do so by the doctor.
- This medication is usually given in addition to other medications (for example, cyclosporine, corticosteroids) to prevent rejection of transplanted organs.
- Take all medications exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
