Cinobac Miscellaneous Notes
- It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication unless your doctor directs you otherwise.
- This medication has been prescribed for your current condition only.
- Do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else.
- A different medication may be needed in those cases.
Medicinal Applications
- This medication is an antibiotic used to treat urinary tract infections.
Possible Side Effects
- This medication may cause stomach upset, loss of appetite, diarrhea, nausea, headache or dizziness during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication.
- If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform your doctor.
- Notify your doctor if you develop.
Usage Instructions
- Take each dose with a full glass of water.
- If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk.
- Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication.
- Take this medication 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking any medications containing aluminum or magnesium.
- Some examples include quinapril, didanosine, vitamins/minerals, and antacids.
- Sucralfate, bismuth subsalicylate, iron, and zinc are also included.
- These medications bind with cinoxacin preventing its full absorption.
- Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level.
- Do this by taking the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night.
- Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days.
- Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of the infection.

- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.

What To Do In Case Of Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered.
- However, if it is almost time for the next dose and your dosing schedule is 2 per day, space the missed dose and the next dose 5-6 hours apart.
- If dosing is 3 or more per day, space missed dose and next dose 2-4 hours apart.
- In any case resume your usual dosing schedule.
