Overdose

• If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

• Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use.
• Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Possible Side Effects

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, headache, sore throat, hot flashes, stomach and/or back pain, dizziness, trouble sleeping, and irritation at the injection site (for example, redness, swelling) may occur.
• If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly.
• Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur.

Medicinal Applications

• Fulvestrant is used to treat breast cancer that has not responded well to other medications (for example, anti-estrogen drugs such as tamoxifen).
• Breast cancer tumors grow when the cells are stimulated by the hormone, estrogen.
• This drug works by blocking the effect of estrogen on the breast cancer tumor cells.

Faslodex Storage Instructions

• Store in the refrigerator between 36 and 46 degrees F (2 and 8 degrees C).
• Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

What To Do In Case Of Missed Dose

• If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
