General Information

  • HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth as directed. Do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
  • USES: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Decongestants e.g., pseudoephedrine help relieve nasal congestion. This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

  • If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
  • Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
