Biaxin Storage Instructions
- Store at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.

- Clarithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections and skin infections.
- It is also used to treat peptic ulcers in combination with anti-ulcer medication.

What To Do In Case Of Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, do not double dose.
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose.
- If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Usage Instructions
- Regular release clarithromycin tablets may be taken with or without food.
- If stomach upset occurs, try taking it with food.
- Extended release tablets (XL) must be taken with food and swallowed whole.
- Do not crush or chew them.
- Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level.
- Do this by taking the medication at the same time(s) each day.
- Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days.
- Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of the infection.
