Relpax - Eletriptan - Oral Brand Drug

General Information

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include.

Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
Do not store in the bathroom.
Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

Eletriptan is a "triptan"-type medication used to treat migraine headache attacks.
It does not prevent migraine headaches from occurring and should not be used for other types of headaches (for example, cluster headaches).

Do not share this medication with others.
Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects.
Consult your doctor for more details.

Stomach upset, dizziness, or dry mouth may occur.
If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur.

This drug should not be used within 72 hours of the following medications because very serious interactions may occur.

Take this medication by mouth at the first sign of a migraine headache.
If the headache returns or you have no relief from the first dose, a second dose of this medication may be taken 2 hours after the initial dose; but only if instructed to do so by your doctor.
Do not take more than two doses and do not exceed 80 mg of this medication in a 24-hour time period.
