Usage Instructions

  • Take this medication by mouth as directed.
  • Do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed.
  • It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

Medicinal Applications

  • Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion.
  • Ephedrine is a decongestant and bronchodilator which helps relieve nasal congestion and improve breathing.
  • This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold or respiratory tract illness.

Broncholate Storage Instructions

  • Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight.
  • Do not store in the bathroom.

What To Do In Case Of Missed Dose

  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
