Possible Side Effects

• Temporary increase in prostate cancer symptoms (for example, bone pain, difficulty urinating, blood in the urine), hot flashes, headache, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, trouble sleeping, or pain at the injection site may occur.
• If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly.
• Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur.

What To Do In Case Of Missed Dose

Usage Instructions

• Learn all preparation and usage instructions in the product package.
• If any of the information is unclear, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• Withdraw 2 ml of sterile water for injection into a syringe, remove the top of the medication vial, and inject the 2 ml of sterile water into the vial.
• Shake the vial well to thoroughly mix the medication.
• After mixing, this medication should appear as a milky white suspension.
• Before using, check this product for any unusual particles or discoloration.
• If either is present do not use the liquid.
• Before injecting each dose, clean the injection site with rubbing alcohol.
• It is important to change the location of the injection site occasionally to avoid problem areas in the muscle(s).
• Inject this medication into a muscle (IM) of either buttocks usually once every 12 weeks (84 days); or as directed by your doctor.
• It may take up to 4 weeks before the full benefit of this drug takes effect.

• Store the unmixed vials at room temperature (77 degrees F and 25 degrees C).
• Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted.
