Usage Instructions
- Take this medication as prescribed, usually three times a day.
- Take this with meals or within 30 minutes after a meal to reduce stomach upset.
- Swallow each tablet whole followed by a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water.
- Do not suck, chew or crush the tablets.
- Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this medication.
- Do not increase your dose or take this more often without your doctor's approval.
Urocit-k Storage Instructions
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat, light and moisture.
- Do not store in the bathroom.

- Stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, or loose stools may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication.
