Drug Compatibility Recommendations
- This drug is not recommended for use with rifamycin antibiotics (for example, rifabutin, rifampin), carbamazepine, barbiturates (for example, phenobarbital, mephobarbital), sirolimus, and ergot alkaloids (for example, ergotamine, dihydroergotamine).
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details.
- Other drugs besides voriconazole which may affect the heart rhythm (QTc prolongation in the EKG) include terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride, dofetilide, pimozide, quinidine, sotalol, procainamide, and sparfloxacin among others.
