Overdose

Usage Instructions

  • Do not shake this medication; doing so may cause this drug to become ineffective.
  • Reteplase is given by injection into a vein (IV), as directed by your doctor.
  • Generally, it is given as an initial dose followed by a second dose 30 minutes later.
  • Before using, check this product visually for particles or discoloration.
  • If either is present, do not use the liquid.

Reteplase Intraven. Storage Instructions

  • Store sealed kit at either refrigerated or room temperature between 36 and 77 degrees F (2 to 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
  • Do not freeze.
  • After mixing in correct IV fluids (consult your pharmacist for details), the drug can be stored at refrigerated or room temperature for up to 4 hours.
