Overdose

- Reteplase is given by injection into a vein (IV), as directed by your doctor.
- Generally, it is given as an initial dose followed by a second dose 30 minutes later.

- If either is present, do not use the liquid.

- Store sealed kit at either refrigerated or room temperature between 36 and 77 degrees F (2 to 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
- Do not freeze.
- After mixing in correct IV fluids (consult your pharmacist for details), the drug can be stored at refrigerated or room temperature for up to 4 hours.
