What To Do In Case Of Missed Dose

  • If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
  • Call your doctor if you miss more than one dose daily.

Possible Side Effects

  • May cause drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and/or vomiting.
  • Unlikely to occur but report to your doctor if you develop any of the following side effects.

Warning

  • This drug has rarely caused blood disorders (aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis).
  • Promptly notify your doctor if you experience sore throat, fever, unusual weakness or fatigue, unusual bleeding or bruising.
  • You will be monitored to minimize the possibility of these symptoms occurring.

Usage Instructions

  • Take with food to prevent stomach upset.
  • Take twice daily or as directed by your doctor.
  • Do not crush or chew.
  • Tablets must be swallowed whole.
  • Tablets should be inspected for chips and cracks and thrown away and not taken if the tablets are found to be damaged.
  • Do not suddenly stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor.
  • For seizure control, it is important to take all doses on time to keep the level of medication in your blood constant.
