Fe Heme Polypeptide Oral Storage Instructions

  • Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.

Medicinal Applications

  • Heme iron polypeptide is a form of iron supplement.
  • It is used to treat or prevent iron deficiency anemia (low red blood cell count).
  • Certain medical conditions may increase the risk of iron deficiency (for example, pregnancy, certain surgery, chemotherapy, renal failure).
  • It is typically used in people who cannot absorb or tolerate regular iron products (for example, ferrous sulfate).
